The Main players was first screened in Edinburgh at a show of Blues 'N' Trouble to mark their 20th anniversary of playing live. All the images Blues 2000, a festival the previous year in Edinburgh which included along with Blues 'N' Trouble, Odetta, Otis Rush, Big George, Lazy Lester, Bill Wyman and Guy Davis. The images used were taken by marc marnie (all B/W) and Raoul Simpson (all colour) while Izz Hohler and Raoul Simpson compiled and edited the film. The sound track is Blues 'N' Trouble, Long Gone Man. |
