Lighting

Raoul Simpson, a self taught artist / designer who is as passionate about art as he is technology. Having spent over two decades harnessing technological innovations and absorbing them into his artistic vision and lighting designs within the entertainment industry.

In recent more times, he has taken his creative vision and technological know-how to the realm of interactive public art. Recycling many of the techniques and type of equipment normally used on large scale events and concerts to create art works. It is his hope that viewers and participants might take some of these ideas away, and energise their own horizons with the technical possibilities available thorough such methods and ultimately recycle this in their own way.

To date Raoul’s work has been exhibited both at home in Ireland as well as Europe, North America and Asia.
