Kinetic Pixels

A temporary interactive light installation - Aug '09

Alternate Link - Vimeo

Kinetic Pixels is an interactive light installation, positioned between the pews and triggered as people pass through an area covered by a miniature hidden video camera.

The installation comprises of linear colour changing LED light fixtures position along the floor either side of the central aisle. Hidden cameras supply a video feed which is sent in a digital format to the lights.

Whenever someone moves within the camera's focal field, their movement and colour of attire are replicated by the LED fixtures.
